Suicide Notes From Beautiful Girls By: Lynn Weingarten
This book was amazing like a lot of books out there but it was kind of hard for me to get into it in the beginning, but in the end I was glad I stuck to it. I liked this book a lot I actually finished it in less than two hours. This book has mystery, love, drama, and suspense all rolled into 325 pages of awesomeness. I want to own this book one day and then get sticky note tabs to mark the parts that meant the most to me, I want to do this with all of my books someday, but for now I have to stick to taking notes on a google doc. This book has been on my never-ending To Be Read list for a long time and so have all the other fifteen books from the library that are sitting either on my desk or my dresser. at first I actually thought this book was going to have a bunch of suicide notes from girls in there because of the title, and I guess this is where that saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" comes in.
Summary on back of book because it's late and I want to get started on Paper Towns:
They say Delia burned herself to death in her stepfather's shed. They say it was suicide. But June doesn't believe it. June and Delia used to be best friends in that way that comes before everyone else. It was like being in love, except more. They had an infinite number of secrets, tying them together like thin silk cords.
But one night a year ago, everything changed. June, Delia, and June's boyfriend, Ryan, were just having a little fun. Their good time got out of hand. And in the cold blue light of morning, June knew only this-things would never be the same again.
Now Delia is dead. And June owes it to her to find out the truth...…which is far more complicated than she could have imagined.
Today's or nights quote is: "See the light in others and treat them as if that is all you see"-Unknown
Also if you ever need to talk to someone about something your struggling with or you just want to talk feel free to email me, and I will almost always respond. I don't know if I can be of much assistance but I'm really good at listening if that's what you need.
